Beginning Theater Movement: Wednesdays from from 7:15pm to 8:15 pm at 1945 Wright Blvd in Schaumburg from August 30th to Oct. 4th  for children ages 5 to 9 years old. Geared toward those just starting in Musical Theater who are interested in learning how to move to music on stage.  No prior dance experience required. Join us for 5 classes filled with the skills you need to get started dancing on stage. (There will be no class on September 13.) Our instructor, Jenni Scholz, specializes in teaching dance and theater to young children and will use a variety of techniques to build confidence on and off the stage all while having fun.

Jenni Is so excited to teach classes at SOS. Jenni has over 25 years of experience in Early Childhood education including the last 5 years in a special education elementry classroom. Jenni started performing at the age of 4 and hasn’t stopped since.  She attended both the College of Dupage and and Western Illinois University and was a member and choreographer for both dance companies.
When she is not spending time with her husband and 4 children, Jenni directs and choreographs musical theatre programs in Streamwood.
Some of Jenni’s hobbies include, reading, going to the theatre, swimming with her kids, and watching her sons play soccer and baseball.
